Suzhou Innovopto Co., Ltd. was established in 2016. It is a Sino-foreign joint venture and  technology start-up company founded by a team of returned European doctors. The company's R&D centre and production base for optoelectronic interconnect products are located in Changshu Hi-tech Zone.

The company is committed to the research and experimental development of optical fiber communication system, optical network system, photoelectric sensing system, and IoT system, as well as import and export business. The passive product lines (including conventional and specialized), fibre arrays and coupled optical devices are currently in mass production, with customers located in mainland China, Taiwan, and Western European countries.

There are more than 60 patents (including 12 invention patents) applied for and have already authorized 28.
