Description:

The 4 × 200 Gbps 800G DR4 Mach–Zehnder silicon photonic heterogeneous-integrated electro-optic modulator chip, integrating four channels of high-performance differential Mach–Zehnder modulators (MZMs) and multiple passive components. It features a 1-to-4 optical splitting configuration, in which the input laser signal enters through a single optical port and is split into four paths by an optical splitter, each routed to one of the four high-bandwidth modulators and output through four optical ports. Each high-bandwidth modulator is equipped with a pair of heaters for operating-point adjustment. One MPD is mounted at the input optical port and each of the four output optical ports for optical power monitoring.
